Audrey’s Story

Audrey was born October 28, 1964, in Xenia, Ohio to Warren M. and Audrey (Guyton) Finch.  She was the fourth of five siblings. Audrey was preceded in death by her loving parents and her only brother, Warren P. (Tammy) Finch. Audrey leaves to cherish her memory; her devoted daughter Monta, granddaughter, Alexis, and grandsons Marquis and JaiCian, her devoted sisters; Regina Roberts, Deborah (Jimmy) Davis, and Jacqueline Finch. She also leaves her nieces and nephews: LaTasha Finch, De’Sean James, Tiandra, Brandon, Tarren, Ja’Maine and Ja” Cara Finch, Ja’Nae (Tresavon)  Evans, Kevin (Jonice) Frye, RuQaiyah Grimes, and many others that know her as Aunt Sisse’.  She leaves her best friends; Eddie Wakefield, Tawnya Henry, Chalese Rose and Timella James. Sisse’ (as her friends called her) lived in Xenia all her life. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a teenager.  She attended Xenia City Schools, graduating from the Career Center.  Sisse’ started working at Wright Patterson Air Force Base as a senior in high school, continuing for 36 years. To know Sisse’, was to know love, grace, and compassion.  She was a sweet soul, who gave her all to her family, her friends, and her career.  Sisse’ was the epitome of strength.  She never allowed her to fight with RA, or any other hurdles stop her.  Her gentle nature and calm composure drew people to her, but her nurturing heart and loving spirit kept them around.   She was pure joy and a blessing to be connected to her. Until the very end, she fought, and she fought well. Family members respectfully honor the wishes of Audrey’s cremation.
