Elvin Edward Linson

Elvin Edward Linson (Johnny), 70, of Springfield, Ohio departed this life on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Elvin was born June 17, 1951, a son of the late Willie B. Pendergrass and Willie F. Linson. Elvin retired from the City Department after 35 plus years of service.   Elvin was a great father, an avid bowler, hunter, and fisherman.  He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters: Johnna (Jack) Gumm and J’Ali’Anna D. Linson, one stepson: James A. Green Jr., one sister: Dorothy S. McNeil, one nephew (like his brother): Water E. McNeil, one aunt: Henrietta Ross, Nashville, Tennessee.  Elvin was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Beatrice Pendergrass, Mildred Henry, Tennie Mae McCombs, and LeAnna Mills: two brothers, Paul Linson and William George Pendergrass, and one daughter, Alanna L. Patton. Elvin Edward Linson (Johnny) will be missed by all who knew him.
