EMANUEL VINCENT GOSS, JR. was born November 19, 1946, to the late Emanuel Vincent, Sr., and Nancy (Kinniebrew) Goss in Tyler, Texas, the oldest of three sons. He departed this life June 5, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital surrounded by his loving wife and family He was preceded in death by his parent Emanuel was a graduate of Central State University, majoring in Education. He loved music and being able to help his students and others. He dedicated his life to art. He retired from the Dayton Public School System as music, choir, and band instructor. Emanuel composed and wrote music, which is registered in Washington, DC. He joined the AME Church at an early age, and was a faithful member of United A.M.E Church in Xenia, Ohio, singing with the Mighty Men’s Chorus. Emanuel’s extra activities include playing Bid Whist, as long as he was winning. Emanuel is a charter member of Prince Hall Grand Lodge Ohio Male Chorus, Member of Champion Lodge #15 PHA; Akbar Temple #41 (High Priest and Prophet); Miami Consistory #26; Connecting Link, Wilberforce Chapter of Links, Inc, and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Constance Kendall-Goss; his son, Samuel (Crate) Robinson, Riverside, California; two brothers, Wesley (Sandy) Goss, Indianapolis, Indiana and Michael Goss, Cincinnati, Ohio; an aunt, Ella Evans, Moreno Valley, California; Stepchildren, Ronald (Olympia) Childress, Iris Childress, and Rhonda (Ryan) O’Neal, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. On Saturday, July 24, 2021, Memorial Service will be held at United A.M.E. Church 286 East Church Street, Xenia, Ohio at 11:00 am with Rev. Dr. John E. Freeman Eulogist.
