Gary Harding, 66, of Columbus, Ohio went home to eternal rest on Monday, December 28, 2020. He was born August 10, 1954, in Springfield, Ohio a son of Earl and Geneva (Woods) Harding. He was a graduate of Springfield South High School, a veteran with the United States Marines, and an employee of Bonnie Speed Logistics. Gary loved family, friends, traveling, cookouts, and sports. A hard worker and a good man. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Gary Kidd, Springfield, Marques Harding, Los Angeles, a daughter, Brittini Harding, Los Angeles, mother, Geneva (Woods) Harding, a sister Michelle (Mike) McClurg, brother Myron E. Harding, all of Springfield, and a close companion, Paula Ware, Columbus, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Earl C. Harding, a brother, Earl Jr., and sister Lois Marshall. Service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Porter-Qualls-Freeman Funeral Home, 823 South Yellow Springs Street, Springfield, Ohio. Visitation will be at 11:00 am -1:00 pm until time of service which will be private due to COVID-19 with Pastor Brim officiating. Interment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery. Social distancing protocol will be observed, and a face mask will be required. Arrangements entrusted to Porter-Qualls-Freeman Funeral Home.
