Nevin Powell

Nevin Powell beloved son of Jeroyd Powell and Velta Massie departed this earth on Friday January 6th. Nevin was born September 10th, 1953, in Springfield Ohio. He joined the Marine corps after graduating South high school. During his time in the Marine, he served as a military police officer. After his time in the Marines, he attended Wright State University where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He moved on to work as a civilian engineer for the United States Navy in the Washington DC area. After retirement he returned to Springfield to be closer to family. He leaves behind his mother Velta Massie, his brother Brett Powell, and a large extended family.
