Richard W. Cunningham I, 68, left this world to be in a painless place on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Hospitality Healthcare in Xenia, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ruth (Mattison) Cunningham; brother Alan Cunningham; and sister, Barbara Furman. He leaves to cherish precious memories; a son, Richard Cunningham II; two sisters, Faye Hawthorne, Cynthia Franklin; and one brother Johnny Cunningham. He enjoyed watching sports and animal history on TV and doing “word-finds” books. Most of all, he appreciated visitors. His dream was fulfilled when he returned to his beloved hometown. He is already sorely missed.
