Tayon Marquis Howell a.k.a. MOOCH, on Sunday, August 22, 2021, gained his wings and was called home. Tayon was born July 23, 1997, in Xenia, Ohio to Cecily A. Howell and Donald Harrington. He was a 2016 graduate of Xenia High School and the Greene County Career Center, where he was an honor roll student in the Culinary Arts Program and a lettered athlete with Xenia football from elementary to high school "Big 64". Mooch was loved by many and undoubtedly the life of the party. Best known for his dancing skills (you ain't messing with his dougie). He loved to travel and had a joy for life that was unquestionable. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Betty Jean Hurst (NayNay), paternal grandmother, Joyce Harrington, paternal grandfather, Marion Harrington, and aunt, Novella Harrington. He is survived by his mother and his father; two sisters, Taylor Channels and Tamaia Howell; nephew, Keiron Channels; uncles, Devin Howell, Byron Hurst Jr. (Nickie), and Jon Hurst; cousins, Jauffet Harrington, Kelcee Lari, Dakari Hurst, Tarez Gray, Montel Hurst, Jared Howell, Shy'ann Hurst, Cha'Day Hurst, Jamell Smith, and Jayla Howell, and a host of family and friends who deeply loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 30, 2021, at Lighthouse Baptist Church 2040 W. 2nd St, Xenia, Ohio. Visitation will start at 11 am followed by services at 12pm. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, 281 Dayton Ave, Xenia, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Porter-Qualls-Freeman Funeral Home.
